freshman dance 2013 | teen photography

so dance pictures are some of my fav to do, but it's even better when it's one of your littles going to the dance.  my son joey and his obviously gorgeous girlfriend abby went to the freshman dance last month.  abby chose a beautiful lime green dress that sparkled in the sunlight.  and her shoes?  clearly gorgeous {and brave}.  they are the most precious couple, not that i'm biased.  joey is such a tenderhearted gentleman to her and she is just a sweet-as-pie girl that i'm happy to have in my sons life.  they both love the Lord, which makes their relationship even sweeter to watch.

you can see a few things through these pics...we are a wacky, fun-loving, lotsa-laughs family that enjoys a good statue...my daughter tied joeys tie, which made this mama teary...our silly times outweigh the serious...and lastly, joey and abby are a gorgeous couple

i had a photoshoot yesterday afternoon with THE most gorgeous 13 year old girl ever.  i wish i had looked this beautiful at 13.

i had a FAB photoshoot on saturday with miss dj...i was so thrilled when it stopped raining in the afternoon, i was worried for we would have to reschedule...we had some drizzle here and there but we just kept on shooting...and it was SO well worth it!!!

this one is BY FAR my favorite...it turned out EXACTLY as i had it pictured in my mind...just gorgeous!!!

just gorgoues again...she has such beautiful eyes...

love the lighting here...and the wind was blowing her hair perfectly...

i also had a photoshoot saturday with brenna.  she told me at the beginning that she was going to be my toughest subject ever because she hates having her picture taken.  she was a FABULOUS subject and took the most beautiful pictures ever...and i think she might of even enjoyed it!

this was one of her favs...so beautiful...

this one is just FUN isn't it...just looking at it makes me smile...

brenna also brought along her bestie elizabeth for some pics...we got some great ones of them together AND i'm fairly sure they had a great time (judging by the giggling and laughing that went on)
